What we collect when you sign up

Your name, your email, what your business does, and your answers to the two questions on the form. That's all the form asks for, and none of it is required beyond your name and email.

Visit counts

To see how many people visit and click, the page stores a random ID in your browser and records page views and button clicks against it, along with the site that sent you. There are no advertising cookies and nothing that follows you to other sites.

Why we collect it

To email you about your Sheetkeep trial. We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.

If you start a trial

Bank connections go through Plaid, and Sheetkeep never sees your bank password. Plaid handles your bank data under Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Your transactions are written to a Google Sheet that we create and share with you, so our bookkeeping system and the founder's Google account can read it. If you cancel, we give you a full copy. To suggest categories, each transaction's date, amount and description are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI, which may also look up a merchant's name on the web. You review anything it isn't sure about. Sync errors and bank-connection alerts come to us so we can fix them.

Payments

Your card is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of your subscription (its status, dates and Stripe's customer number) so we know whose books to keep running.

Where it's stored

Sign-ups, visit counts and customer records are kept in a database hosted by Supabase in the United States.

Having it deleted

Reply to any email from Sheetkeep and we'll delete everything we have about you.
