Terms

Last updated October 20, 2026.

In short: your free week costs nothing. After it, Sheetkeep is $29 a month, charged automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online anytime, and you keep a full copy of your books.

What Sheetkeep is

Sheetkeep is a bookkeeping service built on a Google Sheet. It pulls your bank and card transactions in through Plaid, suggests a category for each one with AI, and checks your books against your bank every morning. It's bookkeeping help, not tax, legal or accounting advice: you review the categories, and you're responsible for your tax returns and business decisions.

The free week

Your free week starts when you add your card at checkout. We send you that link once your books are set up and your year so far is caught up. You aren't charged during the free week, and if you cancel before it ends, you pay nothing. One free week per business.

Price and automatic renewal

After the free week, Sheetkeep is $29 a month, plus sales tax where it applies. Your card is charged automatically on the day your free week ends and on the same day every month after that, until you cancel. Before your first charge we email you a reminder with the date, the price and how to cancel. Early users keep $29 a month for as long as they stay subscribed. If the price ever changes for anyone else, we'll email at least 30 days before the new price applies, and you can cancel before then.

Cancelling

Cancel anytime online, from the “Manage subscription” link in any email from Sheetkeep or Stripe (enter your email and you'll get a sign-in link). It takes about a minute and you don't have to call or talk to anyone. You can also reply to any email from Sheetkeep and we'll cancel it for you. Cancelling stops all future charges. If you cancel during the free week, you're never charged. If you cancel later, your books keep updating until the end of the month you've paid for.

Refunds

Monthly charges aren't refunded for part of a month. If you were charged after you cancelled, or charged by mistake, reply to any email from Sheetkeep within 60 days and we'll refund it.

If a payment fails

If a charge doesn't go through, our payment processor, Stripe, tries again over about two weeks and emails you a link to update your card. If it still doesn't go through, your subscription ends, and what happens next is the same as cancelling.

Your books are yours

When your subscription ends, we turn off the bank feed, remove our connection to your bank, and give you a full copy of your sheet to keep, with every transaction, category, journal entry and report up to that day. Your access to our working copy ends then. If you want everything we hold about you deleted, ask and we'll do it (see the Privacy page).

Your part

Connect only accounts you're allowed to connect, give us accurate information, keep your Google account secure, and look over the categories, especially anything the AI flags as unsure. Don't use Sheetkeep for anything illegal.

Accuracy and limits

We work hard to keep your books right, but bank feeds can arrive late or wrong and AI suggestions can be wrong, so check your books before you file taxes or make decisions with them. Sheetkeep is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Services we rely on

Bank connections run through Plaid, under Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Payments run through Stripe. Your sheet lives in Google Sheets, and categories are suggested by Anthropic's Claude AI. Their own terms cover their parts.

Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we'll email you before it takes effect. If you keep using Sheetkeep after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can cancel.

Who we are
